Universal Video Instructional Interface

Hear people.
Reach people.

Organizations collect more feedback than anyone can read, then struggle to reach the people who gave it. Uvii does both — in production today for New York City government.

The problem

Organizations ask. Then nothing happens.

Agencies, universities, and nonprofits collect enormous amounts of feedback from the people they serve. Most of it is never read, never understood, and never acted on.

What breaks

  1. A checkbox loses the story. Tone, hesitation, and context carry real information. A rating scale throws it away.
  2. Nobody can read it all. Collect open-ended answers and someone has to review every essay, voice note, and video. That never happens.
  3. Understanding isn’t reaching. Even knowing what people need, email goes unopened and calls go unanswered.

What Uvii does

  1. Let people answer naturally. Written, spoken, or filmed — whatever fits the person and the moment.
  2. Let AI do the reading. Mood, themes, a plain-English summary, a quality score. Video gets watched, not just transcribed.
  3. Close the loop by text. Reminders and real two-way conversations, with compliance enforced automatically.

The family

Three products, one system

Each solves a different piece and each stands alone. Buy the piece you need most, then grow into the rest.

INSINC

Ask the question

The survey product. Written, voice, and video feedback on one dashboard, shared by QR code, link, text, or kiosk.

Live, in daily use

02 · Understand

Uvii Analysis

Hear people

The insights engine, sold to other software companies through an API. Send text, voice, or video — get back what it means.

Uvii SMS

Reach people

Compliant texting for organizations. Reminders, announcements, and real two-way conversations with the people you serve.

Built & working — early access

What it actually does

500 videos in. One clear answer out.

Most tools only handle typed text. For video, our AI looks at the footage itself — facial expressions and all — and writes a read-out a human can act on.

Before — what lands in the inbox

500+ responses · 40 hours of video · nobody watches them

After — what Uvii returns

Video read-out

Respondent describes missing two prior hearings because notices arrived after the date. Speaks quickly, appears frustrated but engaged throughout.

Traction

Not a pilot. Not a prototype.

Paid engagements across government, higher education, and civic engagement. Every response INSINC collects runs through Uvii Analysis in production — the old system was switched off entirely.

The founder

Built by someone who noticed what forms throw away

Kimberly Gray founded Uvii and leads it as CEO from New York City. Before this she worked in film, television, and production, including work connected to HBO, MTV, and 40 Acres and a Mule.

That background is the whole thesis. In media you learn fast that how someone says something carries as much information as what they say — tone, hesitation, energy, expression. Yet when institutions asked communities for feedback, they reduced people to a checkbox.

Uvii started as one product solving one problem. Customers exposed the next one, then the next. Three platforms later, all three are live, and New York City agencies pay for them.

The market has spent years trying to make people behave like databases. We do the opposite — let people respond naturally, then make the response structured and usable.Kimberly Gray, Founder & CEO

Getting started

What working with us looks like

Most organizations start with one program or one department, prove it there, and expand. We’re set up for public-sector procurement — M/WBE certified in NYC and New York State, and registered in SAM.gov.

Week 1

Scoping call

We walk through what you’re collecting today, who needs to see it, and which of the three products actually fits. Often it’s one, not all three.

Week 1–2

Your workspace

You get a private workspace with your own team accounts, contact lists, and — for SMS — your own dedicated phone number.

Week 2–3

Build & train

We set up your forms, prompts, or campaigns with you, and train the staff who’ll use them day to day.

Ongoing

Live & supported

You run it. We stay on for support, reporting, and adding capabilities as the program grows.

Every client is separate

Each organization gets its own workspace, team, contact list, and phone number. Data doesn’t cross between clients, and staff only see the programs they’re assigned to.

Compliance is built in, not bolted on

Consent and permissions are captured at collection. Opt-outs are enforced automatically on every single message — staff can’t accidentally text someone who has opted out.

Costs can’t run away

Every customer has a spending ceiling on AI processing, and usage is metered per organization. You see what you’ve used before you’re billed for it.

Get in touch

Tell us what you’re trying to do

A short note is enough. We’ll come back with whether we’re a fit, what it would cost, and how fast we could start.

We reply to every message, usually within two business days.

Hear people. Reach people.

Understand what your community tells you, and reach them where they actually read.
